Our friend Suzy Allen of Chain 2 created a great pattern for a great cause using our Collins Bulky.
Her (Reli)ef Bear pattern is a super cute take on a teddy bear. She is donating the money raised from sales of the pattern to a charity of her choice to benefit victims recovering from Hurricane Sandy. Plus, anyone can donate their finished bear to children affected by the storm, just contact Suzy to find out a drop off location.
For those in Northern Virginia, Fibre Space has agreed to be a drop off location; they will be collecting bears through the Sunday of President's day weekend, February 17, 2013.
