Peduncle Silk - 1 oz - Natural

This 100% Peduncle Silk is a reclaimed silk product and a relatively rare fiber. It comes from the connective stem that joins a tussah silk moth cocoon to the surface it hangs from.

This beautiful silk has a natural coloring of dark grayish brown it is a standard color by The Fiberists and is available for on demand ordering. As this is a relatively rare fiber it may be available in limited quantities. Colors may vary from what they appear on your screen.

Finished items created from this top are recommended hand wash only. While this is 100% Peduncle silk and can tolerate some agitation while wet without felting, The Fiberists recommend all projects be hand washed in cold water to ensure longevity.
