Eri Silk Top - 2 oz - Yellow

This super smooth luxurious 100% Eri Silk Top is a relatively rare fiber.  It comes from cocoons of the Eri silk moth, and the natural coloring of the silk is due to the diet of the moth.

This beautiful silk has a natural coloring of light yellow gold; it is a standard color by The Fiberists and is available for on demand ordering.  As this is a relatively rare fiber it may be available in limited quantities. Colors may vary from what they appear on your screen.

Finished items created from this top are recommended hand wash only. While this is 100% eri silk, and can tolerate some agitation while wet without felting, the color of the silk is bound into the outer coating of the fiber and may be removed by washing in hot water or with detergents. The Fiberists recommend all projects be hand washed in cold water to ensure longevity.
